Description

A very special leaf has fallen from the tree, freed by a strong, crisp autumn wind. The wisdom of its season forever enshrined, and each vein,  each wrinkle, each variegation a story.

The bright, sunny days and crisp, cold nights of autumn here in the mountains are perfect conditions for creating the beautiful burgundy red colour of this leaf, presented by the featured garnet. The top of this jewel has been left rough, giving it a rich texture.

This sterling silver leaf has been sawed, textured, and detailed by my hand. The stem of the leaf is a sterling silver casting of a real twig. A patina has been applied to give depth to the details. The pendant is roughly 3.5 inches long, and hangs from an 18 inch chain.
